Flashpacking

I came across this term on Matador article. Then I went in to ultra research mode to see if I fit into the category. I found two defination: one, being a tech focus bagpacker, and two, a more affluant bagpacker. In fact, I fit into both. Now I could rant on about what flashpacking is and which definition is fit it best, but I want you to decide, so here is the Google search results, Wikipedia Article, a great site called Flashpackers Guide and has a great blog with it, The Tux… In the Backpack, and last a blog that is flashpacking in action at Flashpacking Life

The is a great travel community site called Matador. It is a collection of articles publish by the user of this site. I going to start contributing to this site and might cross publish some post from this blog and my other blogs to that site. An article I think you should check out an article talking about flashpacking, click here for the article. This definitely describes me when I pack and go on my day trips or one night trip. I stumble across this cool site Ride the City. It is a site for mapping out bike routes. It a New York City site, but I hope they will branch out to other cities. It cool, super easy to use, and great for bike riding Urban Hiker in all of us.
